Platforms, frameworks and books

My work does not end with a recommendation

Advisory keeps producing the same need: a way to make the frameworks usable after the engagement ends. So I build the systems, tools and frameworks that make better decisions repeatable.

The Vela Intelligence platform: 312 documents reduced to 4,918 evidence spans and 47 findings, each linked to the source clause it came from, with coverage gaps reported rather than inferred
Founder & CEO Vela Intelligence

From documents to decisions

Critical decisions are still trapped inside documents. In investing, governance, regulation and strategy, leaders are expected to make high-stakes calls on the back of hundreds of pages of filings, reports, contracts and disclosures.

Vela is an evidence-to-decision intelligence platform for environments where traceability, consistency and trust matter. Rather than relying on fragile autonomous agents, it uses controlled workflows that extract evidence, assess it against structured dimensions, and generate outputs that can be audited and explained. Every finding links to source material; every conclusion follows a clear logic.

It supports due diligence, investment committee preparation, governance reviews, sustainability analysis and regulatory-facing assessments — turning messy documentation into structured insight.

The Sustainability Compass framework
Creator Sustainability Compass

Know what a company can actually prove

The Compass is for leaders who want to move beyond reporting and turn sustainability into real strategic value. Unlike traditional ESG ratings, it does not stop at compliance — it reveals how sustainability is embedded, or missing, in core business decisions, and how that links directly to growth, risk and value creation.

Built on the Seven Principles and refined with senior executives worldwide, it offers clear diagnostics, actionable insights and a roadmap for transformation. The initial version was sponsored by CEDEP, rooting its foundations in world-class executive education and practical boardroom impact.

It is now the spine of the Sustainable Value Creation programme, where each participant uses it to read their own organisation’s maturity before deciding where to act.

The Seven Principles Playbook for Sustainable Companies — Arnaud Blandin, Palgrave Macmillan
Author The book

Sustainability is not a constraint. It is how strategy gets redefined.

The Seven Principles Playbook for Sustainable Companies: Purpose, Planetary Boundaries, and Durable Value Creation (Palgrave Macmillan, 2026) is a systems-based playbook that moves beyond ESG checklists — a practical, repeatable diagnostic for building a sustainable company, grounded in real leaders, real companies and real trade-offs.

The seven principles are not a checklist. They are a system: each one reinforces the others. Purpose without a measured footprint stays aspirational. Resilience without stakeholder alignment stays brittle. Impact without holistic value measurement stays unverifiable. Together they form an operating system for how an organisation interprets reality, makes decisions, allocates capital and evolves.

The framework underneath the Sustainability Compass. A free 15-minute diagnostic and eight downloadable canvases sit alongside the book. 252 pages, ISBN 978-3-032-26659-0.

IRIS — Beyond Sustainability
Founder IRIS

Institute for Responsible Innovation and Sustainability

CEDEP, INSEAD, SMU, SKEMA and IUM are institutions where I teach. IRIS is the one I founded — to experiment with new forms of executive education at the intersection of AI, sustainability and business transformation.

It cultivates leaders who integrate environmental, social and governance principles into core business strategy, through data-driven education and collaboration that fosters critical thinking, creativity and ethical decision-making.

Next class: AI & Sustainability — navigating complexity with intelligence. Singapore, October 2026.
